Facilities at Edenbridge

Care designed around your pet, with separate spaces for cats and dogs to help them feel comfortable, from the moment they arrive.

A personalised welcome

We know that every pet is different, that’s why we’ve created spaces at our Edenbridge practice to help each pet feel as comfortable as possible, from the moment they arrive. We have plenty of parking in our private onsite car park. In our main building you’ll find a large, welcoming reception area, though we also welcome those who prefer to wait outside in the fresh air. We have two bright, spacious consulting rooms, particularly helpful for nervous dogs who appreciate a little extra space.

Many cat owners travel to us specifically for our dedicated cat-only clinic, in a separate building directly opposite the main practice. From the moment they arrive, cats have their own quiet environment away from the sights, sounds and smells of dogs. The clinic has its own waiting area and two consulting rooms, giving our feline patients a calmer start to their visit. Our ISFM Cat Friendly Practice Gold Standard accreditation reflects our commitment to making veterinary visits as comfortable as possible for cats.

Diagnosis and treatment, all in one place

We have a vet who has a particular interest in internal medicine, for a clear picture of what is going on inside, we have digital x-ray and ultrasound onsite, meaning we can investigate quickly and safely, without your pet needing to travel elsewhere. Many routine blood and urine tests can be run in our advanced in-house laboratory too, so results come back sooner than sending them to an external laboratory. Our dental facilities cover everything from a routine scale and polish to dental extractions, with digital dental x-ray to check below the gum line with one of our vet team has a special interest in dental health. More complex dentistry and oral surgery can be carried out at our East Grinstead practice, where we have dedicated facilities for advanced dental procedures.

Our cat-only clinic has its own operating theatre, so feline patients can have procedures carried out in a completely cat-focused environment. The clinic is equipped for a range of routine procedures, with the same experienced veterinary team providing careful monitoring and nursing care throughout. Having these facilities within the cat clinic means cats can be treated without needing to enter the main dog and cat practice, helping to keep their whole visit as calm and consistent as possible.

Species-centred recovery

Our approach is species centred throughout your pet’s time with us, from consultation right through to surgery and recovery. In our main practice, our dog ward has extra-large walk-in kennels with orthopaedic mattresses and plush vet beds for added comfort, ideal for larger breeds, senior dogs and those who get nervous when their feet do not stay firmly on the ground. Calming plug-ins and gentle background music and climate control, creates an optimal environment to rest and recover.

Our dedicated cat ward has been designed around the natural needs of feline patients. It is mechanically ventilated and climate controlled, with extra-large glass-fronted kennels giving cat patients plenty of space. Cat castles give them the choice to hide away in a safe space or climb up high where they feel more confident. Calming pheromone spray, gentle background music and comfortable bedding all help to create a peaceful environment, away from the sights, sounds and smells of dogs.
